Whoop VS Apple Watch VS Garmin

Whoop is known for its in-depth analytics and recovery metrics. It can track your strain, sleep, and recovery, and give you personalized recommendations based on your data. My favourite is the sleep score. I am obsessed about my sleep quality and if you use it to the fullest it really gives you a great insight.

Apple Watch, on the other hand, is a jack-of-all-trades. It has a sleek design, a wide range of apps, and can even take ECG readings. + It connects with all your Apple devices and has other purposes.

Garmin is a favourite among serious athletes. It offers advanced tracking features like VO2 max and training load, and has a long battery life.

So, which one is the best?

Well, it really depends on your needs and preferences.

Personally, I've used all three, and I have to say, I'm a big fan of Whoop.

I love how it tracks my recovery and gives me actionable insights on how to optimize my performance.

Plus, the subscription model means I always have the latest hardware and features.

But that's just my opinion. The Apple Watch and Garmin are both great options too, especially if you're looking for a more versatile smartwatch or advanced training features. However, I cannot get pass the price of an apple watch.

So whether you're a Whoop fan like me, an Apple Watch enthusiast, or a Garmin devotee, the important thing is that you're using technology to help you stay active and healthy.

Effect of AI on Fitness

The study looked at how well GPT-4, an AI model, can create exercise plans for different health conditions.

Researchers gave GPT-4 five patient profiles and asked it to make 30-day exercise programs. Experts then reviewed these plans.

They found that while GPT-4 could make safe, general exercise plans, it often missed the mark on personalizing for specific health needs and goals. It played it too safe, which sometimes made the plans less effective.

Fascinating Fact:

AI personal trainers never get tired or need breaks, but they also never understand why you can’t do "just one more set" when you’re already exhausted.

Healthy Frozen Yoghurt Recipe (makes 4 servings)

Low calorie frozen dessert for warm summers?

No problem. One of my favourites is frozen yoghurt.

Can never get enough of it especially since you can tweak toppings.

This recipe was created in 2 minutes with the BusyBody App. Click the button for free access to the app.

Macros per serving

  • Total Calories: 150 kcal

  • Protein: 10 g

  • Carbohydrates: 24 g

  • Sugars: 20 g

  • Fat: 2 g

The Ingredients

  • 500g Greek yogurt (2 cups)

  • 250g mixed berries (fresh or frozen) (2 cups)

  • 50g of pistachios

  • 60ml honey or maple syrup (1/4 cup)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

The Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:

    • If using fresh berries, wash and dry them. If using frozen berries, allow them to thaw slightly so they blend more easily.

  2. Blend the Ingredients:

    • In a blender or food processor, combine the Greek yoghurt, mixed berries, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

  3. Chill the Mixture:

    • Pour the yoghurt mixture into an airtight container. Place the container in the freezer for about 1-2 hours, or until the mixture is firm but still scoopable.

  4. Serve:

    • Scoop the frozen yoghurt into bowls or cones. If it’s too hard to scoop, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly.

  5. Optional Toppings:

    • You can top your frozen yoghurt with additional fresh berries, a drizzle of honey, or a sprinkle of nuts or granola for added texture and flavour. My favourite is a sprinkle of pistachios.

Pro Tip: Blend it once frozen to get an amazing texture
